After the Indian Government tried to push the payments on the Cashless route, a lot of cashless payment methods are being introduced in the country. Samsung Pay is going to be a wise addition to this list.
Samsung has previously implemented Samsung Pay in many countries & India is going to be their latest additon in the list. To be eligible for the Early Access Program you definitely need a Samsung smartphone but, only selected models are currently eligible. Here is the list,
- Galaxy S7/S7 Edge
- Galaxy S6 edge+
- Galaxy Note 5 (Both Dual & Single Sim)
- Galaxy A7 2016
- Galaxy A5 2016
There is also a list of eligible banks for Credit & Debit Cards so, have a look on that as well,
- Credit Cards: Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank
- Debit Cards: Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank
Samsung also said that they’ll include American Express & Citibank India in the list in near future & they’ll also add more banks soon to the list.
