Oculus Go Is Now Available For Purchase In 23 Countries

The Oculus Go was announced back in October of last year & finally Facebook made it available for purchase today with an announcement in their F8 2018 developer conference.

Just to revise the specs again, the Oculus Go comes equipped  with a 5.5 inch 2K (2560 x 1440) 16:9 LCD Display. There are a new pair of Lenses in the Go that Oculus claims to offer a wider field of view while reducing the glares significantly. There is also a single controller & a new speaker system build right into the strap of the headset.

Coming to processing power, the Oculus Go is powered by the Snapdragon 821 SOC which has also powered the ASUS Zenfone AR in the past. However, the Oculus Go has been co-developed with Xiaomi.

As we mentioned in the previous article, the Oculus Go starts at $199 in the US. However, it’s for the 32GB variant and there is also a 64GB variant available for $249.

Starting today, the Oculus Go is available for Pre-order in 23 countries including US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan & more. Surprisingly enough, India is not in the list, at least as of now.
