LG has finally launched their most awaited G6 today at MWC 2017. It is the LG Flagship for 2017 & it is packed with an awesome design & top notch specifications.
LG says that they have managed to fit a 2K (2880×1440) 5.7 inch screen into a 5.2 inch phone body & the ratio is 18:9 that can show 11.3% more content on the screen . The G6 also has support for Dolby Vision & HDR 10 support that could be found on high end TV’s and the G6 is the first smartphone to have this technology.
The G6 buyers will also get $200 Google Play Balance that they can use for Games. Imangi Studios heve announced that they’ll launch their new Temple Run: Lost Jungle & the G6 Buyers will get enough coins to unlock all in-app characters for free.
The phone has a Rounded-edge Glass & Metal fused Body design and LG says that, the design also adds some durability to the phone.
The phone is also claimed to be made with the Eco-fiendly metarials as you can see in the image above. The G6 has IP68 certified Water & Dust resistance & that also translates to a Non-removable Battery.
In the back the G6 is packing two 13mp sensors but, the real difference in in the lens setup where one lens is a 82 degrees regular feild of view lens (f-1.8) & the other is a 125 degree wide angle lens (f-2.4) that can help it to take good wide angle shots. It also has support for Optical Zoom by using the dual-lens setup.
The 5MP front facing camera also has a 100 degree wide angle lens that can take good wide angle selfies as well. LG has also included a Square Camera mode for Instagram in their Camera app. The rear cameras have support for OIS & this shall make Video Capturing more stabilized. At least we expect it to be less horrible than the V20.
On the processing side though, the G6 is rocking a Snapdragon 821 SOC that they claim to be specially optimized for the G6 & as expected Samsung successfully stopped the G6 to have the Snapdragon 835. In the Memory side, it has 4 Gigabytes of LPDDR4 RAM & upto 64GB of Internal Memory. The G6 is also carrying a 32bit Quad-DAC and it should be better compared to the one on the V20.
In the software side LG G6 will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box & it’ll have built in support for Google Assistant just like the Google Pixel.
